CASE News November 2017

Greetings from New College where the stresses of examinations are becoming a memory and we prepare for a Sydney summer.
 
This message heralds release of our latest edition of Case Quarterly with its focus on Personal Identity.

The lead focus comes from Dr. Brian Rosner with accompanying writers and columnists investigating other facets of personal identity: its implications for clinical practice; our identity when we lose our human faculties; contemporary research on human experience and identity at the physical interface; and, some conceptual weaknesses of working from the physical to the identity plane.  

Personal identity is arguably our most vexed present societal issue. Futuristic portrayals of the destiny of members of the human race are a common central theme of contemporary visual media. At the same time, this present generation are considering redefinition of their identity in a way that was never imagined by their grandparents.

Prepare to be challenged by this edition of CASE Quarterly.
